Position Summary
The Equipment Assembly & Warehouse Specialist is a key hands-on role responsible for assembling equipment and furniture, loading/unloading trucks, supporting the retail floor, and maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment. This position ensures that all customers receive professional support and that orders are prepared accurately, safely, and on time.
Primary Responsibilities
Truck Loading, Unloading & Material Handling
Wrap pallets and load trucks for packaging orders.
Load trucks for equipment orders.
Unload all incoming trucks promptly and safely.
Equipment & Furniture Assembly
Assemble equipment for customer orders.
Assemble furniture for orders.
Build shelving, sinks, and tables for orders.
Assemble all Special Project Order equipment.
Assemble and prepare equipment, furniture, work tables, and plumbing fixtures for showroom stock.
Customer Assistance (In-Store)
Assist customers with tasks such as installing wheels, cutting posts, assembling furniture, and loading equipment into vehicles.
Provide courteous, knowledgeable support to ensure a positive customer experience.
Order Verification & Quality Control
Assist with checking orders for accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all assembled items meet Superior’s quality standards.
Facility Maintenance
Clean and maintain the warehouse.
Clean the outside parking lot as needed.
Backup Responsibilities
(Performed as needed to support warehouse operations)
Pick orders for distribution and in-store pickup.
Run deliveries to customer locations.
Assist with equipment deliveries.
Stock products in the warehouse and retail areas.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to assemble equipment and fixtures.
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs safely and regularly.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and with a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order preparation.
Warehouse experience required
Must possess a valid standard Driver's License and be legally qualified to operate a 26-foot box truck (NO CDL required).
Forklift/pallet jack experience required
