Position Summary

The Equipment Assembly & Warehouse Specialist is a hands-on role responsible for assembling commercial foodservice equipment, supporting warehouse operations, and preparing orders accurately and efficiently.

Ideal for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with tools, solving problems, and staying active in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Material Handling & Warehouse Operations

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Wrap, secure, and stage pallets for outgoing shipments
  • Uncrate incoming equipment and inspect for accuracy and damage
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials
  • Pick, stage, and verify orders for accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse

Equipment Assembly

  • Assemble tables, shelving, sinks, and foodservice equipment
  • Install components such as legs, casters, and hardware
  • Use hand and power tools to complete builds efficiently
  • Prepare and stage completed equipment for delivery or showroom

Delivery & Customer Support

  • Assist with equipment deliveries and job site setups
  • Help transport and position equipment at customer locations
  • Support customers with loading and basic assembly needs
  • Deliver a professional and helpful customer experience

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Assembly Accuracy: 99%+ correct builds with no rework
  • Order Accuracy: 98%+ pick and stage accuracy
  • Warehouse Organization: Clean, safe, and audit-ready daily
  • On-Time Readiness: All orders staged before delivery deadlines

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred

  • Previous warehouse or equipment assembly experience
  • Experience with commercial foodservice equipment
  • Comfort assisting with deliveries or driving a box truck
