Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Support Specialist located in St Francis, WI. The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for customer satisfaction, customer service, communication, sales operations, and analytical skills. The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring customers receive quotes and proposals, processing of sales orders, coordinating and resolving issues related to shipments and inventory, ensuring quality and customer service levels are met, and providing reports to management.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Sales Operations and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Knowledge of Foodservice Equipment & Supplies is a plus
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or at least 2 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
Responsibilities
- The role of the Sales Support Specialist reports to the Store Manager and supports other department personnel by performing a wide variety of duties working to support the Sales Team to ensure timely completion of the entire order process and assigned projects
- Provide excellent level of service and strive for consistently positive experiences for both internal and external customers
- Assist customers throughout the Web estimate/quoting process.
- Ability to assist customers with foodservice equipment & supply requests.
- Answer inbound sales and informational inquiries.
- Assist with customer walk-ins.
- Additional sales support as needed.
- Assist in implementing marketing campaigns
- Help with timelines and deliverables for various marketing projects and tasks.
- Work with the eCommerce team with adding/removing users, updating photos, verbiage, and adding/removing items
- Obtain proof of delivery to support customer service representatives
- Utilize available systems and tools daily to monitor order progress and keep aware of potential problems that arise from time to time in processing, production, and delivery
- Efficiently utilize NCR Counterpointe system to process customer orders submitted via websites
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal departments and supplier partners
- Work with other departments and suppliers if any changes, adjustments, developments or problems related to both service and product
