Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Contract Sales Assistant located in St Francis, WI. The Contract Sales Assistant is an integral part of the Contract Division and will be responsible for customer satisfaction, customer service, communication, sales operations, and analytical skills. The Contract Sales Assistant will be responsible for ensuring customers receive quotes and proposals, processing of sales orders, coordinating and resolving issues related to shipments and inventory, ensuring quality and customer service levels are met, and providing reports to management. Contract assistant provides procurement support to the contract department and reconcile contract and financial data for use in leadership decision meetings.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Acquisition, Finance or related field.
- 3-5 years of highly relevant Government acquisition experience without a degree is also acceptable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to research and procure competitive proposals from manufacturers that align with government agencies requirements
- Prepare proposals or bids and perform related contract administrative tasks, including the analysis of contract performance requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions.
- The Contract Sales Assistant is also responsible for much of the logistics and customer service required for the Contract division
- Data Entry of company’s product in government procurement platforms (GSA eBuy/eLibrary etc.)
- Set up company’s data in General Contractor and Supplier Diversity portals
- Engage with general contractors, government contracting officials, prime contractors, subcontractors, and resellers using company’s marketing materials
- Perform a variety of acquisition related tasks

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Wages:
$19.50 an hour plus Benefits packet.
