Superior Equipment is currently in search of a passionate, positive, hard-working self-motivated Catalog Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team! This role is essential for populating our websites & government contracts with products, imagery and data to help drive customer interaction and transactions. This is a full-time, entry level position.

 

Role Description

 

Populating new products into our database, ecommerce & government sales platforms.

 

Ensuring that images, specs, product info, and manuals are accurate and meet Superior Equipment marketing’s standards

 

Auditing product data to ensure integrity and quality

 

Developing an understanding of product features, history, design method, and other characteristics by researching manufacturer websites, catalogs, and assets

 

Enter new products from digitalized catalog in Superior’s database

 

Keying in product features and specifications

 

Arranging products as per categories and subcategories Adding product images

 

Processing basic images by cleaning up if required & cropping images.

 

Updating products on live websites

 

Working on Excel spreadsheets for additions, deletions and price updates with accuracy

 

Stepping up for special projects as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field

 

3+ years of experience in eCommerce, web development, or digital management

 

A strong understanding of e-commerce frameworks including Big Commerce and/or Shopify and associated applications, Facebook/Meta BM, Salsify, and other leading-edge systems

 

Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.

 

High level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

 

Creative and strategic thinker with a strong customer orientation

 

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, thrive in matrix environments, and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders

 

Accomplished computer skills are a must. This includes word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

 

Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

 

Exceptionally high attention to detail
