Event Description: Charitable Corporate Culinary Activity: Nourish your soul and your community by preparing a meal for the residents of a local homeless shelter. Help make a difference in the lives of families and share the philanthropic spirit with colleagues and friends

Looking for an opportunity to express gratitude and give back to the community while bonding with colleagues? Chefs of Compassion offers your team the chance to build camaraderie and spread the philanthropic spirit while feeding families in a difficult time of transition from homelessness to independence.

At this 3.5-hour event, your team will come together in the kitchen to learn about the shelter and the residents it helps. Under the guidance of professional chefs, guests will prepare and serve a well-balanced meal for you and the residents of the shelter to enjoy. With the option to dine with the families, your group is sure to experience the sense of community created through sharing a delicious meal. In addition to the recipes and tips you will take away with you, your group will leave knowing you made an immediate impact in the lives of others.

A Superior Culinary Center our consultant will work with you to identify your team development objectives and create a fully customized program for your organization. To help you envision some of the possibilities, our consultant will provide examples of how Chefs of Compassion has been facilitated at the Superior Culinary Center in the past. Teams reap the benefits of successful project management and individual accountability, enjoying both camaraderie and a delicious meal cooked in our state-of-the-art kitchens.  In order to translate the ideas and spirit of this event to lasting effects for your business, participants take time to discuss, share and draw insights from the event in a team-designed debriefing

Team Building Menu: Cesar Salad, Hearty Beef Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan & Chewy Chocolate Cookies.

What to Expect: Great cooking is about more than recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes your guests will work together with other guests in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

Active participation—your guests will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class

Please have guests wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back

Experienced staff to instruct and assist. A 3.5-hour hands-on cooking experience that includes three recipes and a welcome party drink.
