Looking for a field-trip idea or group activity that is a fun, creative, and a learning experience? Bring your group to Superior Culinary Center! We will work with teachers to design a special class specific to your age group and needs. Learning has never tasted so good!

Superior Culinary Center offers cooking field trips for schools. More and more organizations and educational facilities are coming to us for a distinctive and interactive encounter with our customized field trips. The practice of cooking and working with almost any recipe enables children to learn a variety of academic skills, while having fun. so call today to set up a one-of-a-kind field-trip experience!

 

Field Trip Theme: Let’s Give Thanks

Field Trip Menu: Classic Green Bean Casserole; Roasted Brined Turkey; Master Recipe for Mashed Potatoes & No-Bake Pumpkin Pie

Minimum Kids Required: 24

Time: 3 Hours

Cost: $29.00 Per Child

Event Description: Let’s Give Thanks! Celebrate one of our favorite holidays and learn to make a complete meal. We've created this hands-on class just for you! Our chef instructor will walk you through all the essential techniques—from brining and roasting a turkey to making perfect potatoes with creamy pan gravy. You'll laugh and learn alongside classmates as you craft from-scratch green bean casserole, and we’ll finish the feast with a boozy pumpkin tart. After mastering a few fundamentals, you'll be ready to wow guests with a spectacular holiday spread. Have a gobblin’ good time with crafts, games, and stories.

 What to Expect: Great cooking is about more than recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes your kids will work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

Active participation—your child will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class

Please have students wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back

Experienced staff to instruct and assist. A 3-hour hands-on cooking experience that includes three recipes and a welcome party drink.

All cooking supplies and ingredients, cups, plates, napkins and all cooking utensils
