Superior Culinary Center offers cooking field trips for schools. More and more organizations and educational facilities are coming to us for a distinctive and interactive encounter with our customized field trips. The practice of cooking and working with almost any recipe enables children to learn a variety of academic skills, while having fun. so call today to set up a one-of-a-kind field-trip experience!
The Kinder Cooks program is paced accordingly for our preschool and elementary aged child’s attention span and incorporates age- appropriate recipes and culinary skills while integrating basic nutrition, kitchen safety, and teaching moments to help young chefs become an active participant in the family kitchen. Our mission is to provide an educational and enjoyable service for every child involved.

Event Description The world of food offers the opportunity to share an experience that is universal around the world, uniting and connecting communities, while also appreciating the rainbow of cultures and languages within our unique Wisconsin community.
In this fieldtrip children will come together to celebrate the creation of their own special rainbow community and to try a variety of rainbow-themed dishes that are guaranteed crowd-pleasers in all of our classes.
Along the way, we’ll discuss Asian cooking traditions (as we make a rainbow stir fry), European food preservation methods (as we assemble a rainbow “superfood slaw”), and the importance of respecting all cultures and backgrounds in the kitchen.
What to Expect: Great cooking is about more than recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes your kids will work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
Active participation—your child will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class. Please have students wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
Experienced staff to instruct and assist. A 2.5-hour hands-on cooking experience that includes three recipes and a welcome drink.
All cooking supplies and ingredients, cups, plates, napkins and all cooking utensils
